Exclusive Sneak Peek: Epicutis To Drop New Brightening Treatment

Epicutis is launching its Arctigenin Brightening Treatment in October 2024, and the Dermatology Digest got an exclusive sneak peek of the serum.

The new serum is powered by arctigenin, a patented extract from burdock seed, that is more stable than Vitamin C.

That’s not the only property that sets it apart from Vitamin C. Arctigenin is also gentler and less likely to cause irritation and sensitivity.

The new treatment also harnesses HYVIA, derived from Chia Seed Oil to boost skin barrier function and hydrate skin, and Canadian White Pine Bark Extract which evens out skin tone while inhibiting melanin synthesis and reducing inflammation.

Arctigenin Brightening Treatment is EWG Verified, meaning that the product meets EWG’s strictest standards for health and safety.

“By leveraging state-of-the-art biotechnology and harnessing the power of plant-derived compounds, Epicutis is pioneering a new frontier in evidence-based, high-performance skincare,” says Maxwell Stock, President & CEO of Signum Biosciences, Inc. in an interview with TDD. “This product exemplifies the convergence of natural ingredients and advanced scientific methodologies, positioning Epicutis at the forefront of the rapidly evolving biotech-cosmeceutical industry.”
