KeraFactor is launching its KeraFlex Duo, a dual-wavelength laser cap for hair rejuvenation.
The brand’s original KeraFlex Laser Cap operates at a 650nm wavelength, and the KeraFlex Duo introduces an additional 808nm wavelength—a near-infrared level commonly used in medical and aesthetic lasers.
While the 650nm activates superficial stimulation at the surface and mid-depths of the scalp, the addition of the 808nm supports deeper scalp penetration, increased circulation and oxygenation, improved follicle recovery and rejuvenation, and enhanced anti-inflammatory effects, the company reports.
“We are excited to introduce the KeraFlex Duo to our customers,” says Amy Taub, MD, KeraFactor Co-founder and a Dermatologist in Lincolnshire, IL, in a news release. “This advanced device exemplifies our commitment to providing best-in-class solutions for individuals seeking effective at-home hair-rejuvenation therapies.”
The KeraFlex Duo features a flexible design for comfortable wear, smart sensor activation, and a daily six-minute treatment protocol. It also features an increase in total diodes from 302 to 312, with 272 operating at 650nm and 40 operating at 808nm, for optimized scalp coverage and deeper follicle stimulation.
The KeraFlex Duo will be available for purchase starting June 23, 2025, through the official KeraFactor website.
