The Next Pandemic and …What We Have Learned From COVID

U.S. Surgeon General Boris Lushniak MD, MPH, Professor and Dean of the School of Public Health of the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, will share his perspective on America’s readiness for the next pandemic and where it may originate and lessons learned from the COVID pandemic. “We are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the story has evolved from one of complete and utter fear to where we are now,” he tells TDD. “The talk offers a look at the past, a look at right now, and a predictor of what’s going to happen.”
