Game On: New Differin Campaign Challenges Gamers To Level Up Their Acne IQ

Differin is launching its first-ever gaming campaign in collaboration with Twitch.

The new “Level Up” campaign aims to help gamers level up their acne IQ. Fully 90% of Gen Z and Gen Alpha experience acne,  and the overwhelming majority of folks in these age groups are gamers.

“When you think of skincare, gaming might not be the first thing that comes to mind, but gamers are all about getting to the next level, hacks, and sharing tips and tricks, which sure sounds a lot like great skincare talk,” says Lindsey Scales, Associate Director at Differin.  “We’re excited to take part in this new adventure of showing people how to ‘level up their acne IQ.’ We hope that by gamifying the science behind acne products, we can help acne sufferers enjoy learning about products that could make a huge difference in their lives.”

The campaign includes homepage takeovers, premium video spots during live streams, and targeted stream display ads along with collaborations with Twitch streamers who have a strong, positive influence within the Gen Z community.

The Differin Arcade at TwitchCon, from September 19-22 in San Diego, CA, will connect event attendees and Twitch viewers through interactive events.

Twitch streamers and their viewers will engage in fun, educational Battle Royale challenges where viewers can learn about Differin Gel. Viewers who tune into Differin-sponsored streams can earn exclusive in-game items.
